Oak Park contains the largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright designed buildings in the world, 30 in all. The 10K trail takes you through Oak Park and River Forest - two communities that boast one of the finest collections of late 19th and early 20th century American architecture. Both the 6k and the 10k trails go along quiet residential streets in Oak Park , passing Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio, and Unity Temple. The 10k trail continues into River Forest before returning to the start point in on Lake Street in Oak Park. After the walk, enjoy vibrant downtown Oak Park which hosts many interesting restaurants and businesses.

Closed start point. 10 miles due W of Chicago's Loop. Visitor Center Hours: 10am-5pm daily. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. I-290, exit left to Harlem (Ill 43). Left on Harlem to Lake. Right on Lake to Visitor Center. Watch for city parking lot signs. There is a fee. By public transportation from Chicago, call RTA/Metra 312-836-7000 for schedule information.
