Event information
The Walk Box is kept in the back. You must ask an employee for it. Please be considerate of other customers and patronize the box host. Trails: Lake Needwood 5k rated 1A; 10k rated 2A. Lake Needwood 10k has restrooms at the lake (which may not always be open). Parklawn 10k/12k rated 2A; Parklawn 5k rated 1A. Parklawn trail has restrooms in the Memorial Park Office, when open. PETS are NOT allowed in Parklawn Memorial Park. However, there is an optional 12 k trail which bypasses Parklawn Memorial Park. Both trails are entirely on paved surfaces and follow along Rock Creek in the park; suitable for strollers & wheelchairs. The 12k Parklawn option has one significant hill that is not suitable for wheelchairs and difficult for strollers.

5548 Norbeck Rd, 20853. Rock Creek Village Shopping Center. (240)454-9415. From West: I-270 to Exit 6 (MD-28 East). Follow MD-28E through Rockville (follow signs for Veirs Mill/Wheaton). Cross Rt 355. LEFT at first traffic light to remain on MD-28E, approx 1.5 miles to Bauer Dr. RIGHT to Bauer Dr. Immediate RIGHT into shopping center parking lot. Start point is in far left corner.
