Walks pass schools, churches, and city cemetery along city streets and roads, most without sidewalks. Restrooms available at Courthouse when open and 3 km into the walk at Woody's Smokehouse and Convenience Store at intersection of I-45 & TX-7

Event information
Centerville, population about 900, is near the geographic center of Leon County and half way between Dallas and Houston. The county is known as the "Deerest Place in Texas." You'll see colorful deer statuary around town. Legendary bluesman Lightnin' Hopkins was born in Centerville in 1912. Fort Boggy State Park is 5 miles south of town.
