The Atlantic Ocean coastline is a wonderful feature, with the one mile boardwalk. Also, Henlopen Acres, a wooded development of large beach "cottages" includes shade and lots of trees to enjoy. The Visitor's Center with restrooms is a great stop and includes tons of information for other nearby activities. Rehoboth Avenue has many (famous) restaurants, brewpubs, and shops.
