Event comments
Registration begins at 8:30. A remembrance ceremony to honor deceased LBW members will begin at 9:00. The Guided Walk will begin at 9:15 immediately following the ceremony. Those not participating in the Guided Walk may register between 8:30-9:30. Dogs are permitted on the trails only. Park rules prohibit dogs in the picnic area where the Start Point is located and the activity area where the remembrance ceremony will take place. Walkers will be treated to hoagies, but must bring their own drinks.

Event information
The trail follows natural paths through heavily wooded areas with some hills and uneven terrain, offering beautiful scenery alongside creeks and huge trees. There is also a segment on a rails-to-trail with a crushed stone surface. Recommend sturdy shoes and walking sticks especially on the 10K where some of the trail has eroded.

Driving to the start
183 Moredon Rd., Huntingdon Valley. From the WEST: PA Turnpike East to Exit 343 (Willow Grove) to PA-611 S. Go 3.6 miles, turn left on Susquehanna Rd. Go 1.5 miles, turn left on Meeting House Rd. Go 0.6 miles, turn left on Huntingdon Pike. Go 0.1 mile, turn right on Moredon Rd. Go 0.8 miles, turn right into parking lot. From the NORTH or SOUTH: I-95 in Phila., take Exit 30 (PA-73 W). Go 1.6 miles and cross US-1. Go 1.9 miles, turn right on Oxford Ave. Go 0.2 miles, turn half right on Veree Rd. Go 2.2 miles, turn left on Bloomfield Ave. which becomes Moredon Rd. Go 0.8 miles, turn left into parking lot. From the parking lot, cross Moredon Rd. and walk to the picnic area for the Start Point.
