Currently the "Walk Binder" is not located at Good Samaritan Hospital - contact the POC by email to have the instructions/map emailed to you, this change is due to the current coronavirus situation we are all dealing with - Stay Heathy and Stay Safe!This walk qualifies for OTSVA 2019 (Nature. Event information
10K route will take you thru 5 parks (including Couch, Wallace, Macleay, Holman and skirts parts of Forest Park). You will walk along a small stream and in a deep forest not realizing you are in the city. The 5K route does not go into Forest or Holman parks. Both return along 23rd Av. with its many one of a kind shops and restaurants. PLEASE NOTE that the Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital has changed its parking policies. To park in their parking structures you need a parking validations pass. We normally have parking validation passes in the registration notebook. Park in the 5 minutes spaces in front of the main building then go inside and get a parking validation pass from the registration notebook then go park in one of the parking structures.

This event also has a physical start box. These are the driving directions:
1015 NW 22nd Avenue. NW 22nd & Lovejoy. Directions: I-5 Northbound Exit onto I-405. Exit 405 at Everett St. (2B), onto 14th Ave. to Marshall. Left on Marshall block past 21st to parking building 2 or 3. I-5 Southbound Exit 302B onto I-405. Cross Fremont Bridge, take Exit 3, Left at signal at NW 23rd to Northrup. Left on Northrup. Right on 22nd Av. Left on Marshall to parking building 2 or 3. Walk start binder is in a wall tray by the wheel chair storage area. Enter the main hospital entrance, walk towards the information desk, turn RIGHT just before the information desk towards the wheel chair storage area. Turn LEFT at the wheel chair storage area on the wall of the wheel chair storage area is the binder with the walk registration in the tray or ask the Information Desk for of the location of the walk binder. Main Hospital Lobby is open during daylight hours only.
