Description:
|
Enjoy this walk through a town that seems to be frozen in time. First settled in 1846, Brownsville still has many of it's original commercial and residential buildings. It is obvious why it was chosen as the location for filming "Stand By Me". Go through Pioneer Park and the charming downtown streets. Step back in time at the Linn County Museum and the Moyer House. The climb to North St is rewarded by an awesome view of the Willamette Valley. 3K option to Pioneer cemetery. Daily, dawn to dusk.
