Loop 1: This loop starts and stops at the Residence Inn. Explore the commercial and governmental neighborhoods of Courthouse and Rosslyn. You will pass by the Marine Corps Memorial (The Iwo Jima Statue) and the Netherlands Carillon, and have spectacular views of the major monuments of Washington DC. Wheelchairs will have extreme difficulty on this section, strollers should be able to navigate this section, but significant hills exist in Arlington. Loop 2: This loop does not start or stop at the Residence Inn. Instead, it allows continuing from Loop 1 to cross into Washington DC (Border Crossing). Walk along the Georgetown waterfront and visit a labyrinth if you wish. Pass the infamous Watergate Hotel and the Kennedy Center for the Arts before returning to Virginia. Loop 3: This loop starts and stops at the Residence Inn. Explore the residential neighborhoods of Clarendon and Lyon Village before returning to the start point through the commercial areas of Virginia Square and back to Clarendon, with numerous food and beverage opportunities along the way. Wheelchairs and strollers will have some difficulty on this section but local construction poses a greater challenge as sidewalks could be closed at any time. Be aware that during COVID, businesses may restrict access to restrooms.
