Event comments
We can send an insert card, or you can return for the stamp in your books. This walk counts for the city of Richmond Virginia Cities Program and qualifies for the Find the Love Program. The award is a patch depicting the Main Street Station Clock Tower, visible as you pass it on I-95. You will pass it on your walk. Visit downtown Richmond on city streets crossing the James River. The 10 km route goes along top of the floodwall. Because Brown's Island is occasionally closed for special (paid) events, an alternate route is available. Steps make these walks impossible for wheelchairs and difficult for strollers. Owners must clean up after their pets.

Event information
Legend Brewery open Mon-Sat 11:30am-10pm; Sun 11am-10pm. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. 5/10 routes include the Capitol Building, Governor's Mansion & Brown's Island. Pedestrian bridge across the James River provides a panoramic view of the city. In addition to the Virginia War Memorial, Tredegar and the Capital, the trail passes Main Street Station (10 km only - Clock Tower and LOVEworks), Poe Museum, and Virginia Holocaust Museum and includes many hills and steps. 10K includes Virginia War Memorial, and the Canal walk. For early walkers an orange/red start box containing the trail directions and start cards is located on the steps leading into the restaurant . Finish box containing stamp is located inside restaurant.

Driving to the start box
321 W 7th. St., Richmond. (804)232-3446. From I-95, exit 73 (Maury St.). Follow exit ramp to traffic light which is Maury Street, turn left. At traffic light, turn right onto E. Commerce Street. At the 4th traffic light, Bainbridge Street, turn right. Drive 1 block to 7th Street, turn left. Drive 2 1/2 blocks to Legend Brewery which is on the right.
