Event information
M-Sat 9am-5pm and Sun 11am-5pm. May close Mondays during winter. The trail starts at the Mariners' Museum (one of the finest maritime history museums in the world) and home of the Monitor Center, walk wanders along the James River neighborhoods surrounding and through the campus of Christopher Newport University (CNU) and past their baseball stadium-Captains Park.

Driving to the start box
100 Museum Dr, 23606, 757-596-2222. I-64 (E or W) Exit 258A, J Clyde Morris Blvd, US Rt 17 S. Drive about 2.5 miles to end of JCM Blvd at Warwick Blvd. Cross Warwick Blvd to Avenue of the Arts. Go 0.1 miles, left at blue Mariners' Museum sign. Straight to enter Mariners' Museum grounds. Parking near museum.
