Restrooms available in Cape Henlopen State Park (Park Ranger station near entrance) and port-a-pottys at Herring Point, and Gordon's Pond State Park. Bring water. Wear a helmet. Gordon's Pond State Park (by parking lot) includes a portion with a boardwalk. Two hills on route. Could be water on trail at Gordon's Pond of there have been heavy rooms recently. Rehoboth has many good restaurants (Dogfish Head) and shops.

Route is on pavement or trails. A portion is on crushed stone. Route is a loop, from the Y onto the Breakwater & Junction Trail, to Cape Henlopen State Park (passing the Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal), through Gordon's Pond State Park, and back to the Y through Rehoboth.
