Description: The 5 km explores this tourist centered rural community with its fun shops, pleasant neighborhoods and interesting gold mining history. On the 10 km route you'll start with a hike through the surrounding hillsides where you'll explore the gold mining history presented on story boards along the trail.

Start Point / Driving Directions: 200 N. Riverside Ave, Medford OR 97501, (541) 779-5811. From southbound I-5 take exit 30 toward OR-62/Crater Lake Highway/Medford/Klamath Falls for .3 miles, turn right onto Crater Lake Hwy (OR-62) toward OR-238 for .4 miles, turn left onto Court St (OR-99) for 1.3 miles, turn left onto E. 5th St for .1 miles and left onto N. Riverside Ave to the Inn. From north I-5 take exit 27 toward South Medford/OR-99/Hospital/To Barnett Road onto Belknap Rd for .5 miles. Turn left onto E. Barnett Rd for .7 miles, Right onto S. Riverside Ave (OR-99) for 1.1 miles and arrive at the Inn.

Comments: Just 15 minutes from the Medford. The 5 km route is a 1A, while the 10 km adds a bit more challenge as a 2B. The Schoolhaus Brewhaus is along the route and offers an authentic German meal; a must for a Volkssporter!
