Description: Barons Market is open 8AM-8PM, some holidays have shorter hours @ Barons Market, phone 951-609-9200. This hike is in a Preserve so dogs are not allowed. There are Porta potties at the trailhead and at the adobes. The preserve area can be very hot. Carry water & protect yourselves against the sun. The area is at its best in the spring when the wildflowers are blooming but the fall is great too. A lovely hike with wide-open views of rolling hills (& an occasional stream) interspersed with oak trees. This route visits the adobes (the oldest standing structures in Riverside Co.) It's a wide loop all on dirt trails. Baron's has a wonderful array of ready-made sandwiches, soups & salads. You could have a delightful picnic at the Preserve. The preserve asks for a $4.00 donation.
