Description: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Sat 9am-5pm. Sun 11am-5pm. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Walk daylight hours only. The Columbia River Dike Trail features scenic viewpoints of the Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge (currently undergoing major renovation), the Columbia River, and the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Enjoy an easy, out-and-back nature hike, with many bird varieties and other wildlife. Walk directly from Pendleton Outlet Store; carry water with you. A 5km route includes a loop through downtown and the Columbia River Dike Trail with a loop in the middle at Cottonwood Beach and Captain William Clark Park. Leashed pets permitted and restrooms available at the halfway point. Restrooms and water at registration. Suitable for strollers but difficult for wheelchairs. Pets allowed on leash and with proper cleanup.

Location: Pendleton Mill Factory Outlet Store
Start Point / Driving Directions: 2 Pendleton Way. From Vancouver, Interstate 5 (Exit #1A) or Interstate 205 (Exit #27), take State Highway 14 East to Washougal. Just past Mile Post 16, turn left at traffic light onto Washougal River Road. Right on "A" Street. Right on Pendleton Way. Plenty of parking, but please use outlying spaces. Ask for start box at retail counter.
