Event information

Walk during daylight hours only. This walk goes through State College and the Penn State Campus. The 10K trail starts at the Motel, but you must drive about a mile to the 5K start. During football games and special events on campus, the town is a popular destination. Traffic and visitors increase, it may be difficult to make overnight reservations. Before you travel check visitpennstate.org for local event activities.

Driving to the start box

1663 S. Atherton Street, State College, PA. From I-80: Take Exit 161, I-99/Rt. 26 S to Business Rt. 322 E, turn left on Branch Road, and an immediate left into motel parking lot. From PA Turnpike: I-99N to Business Rt.322 E, turn left on Branch Road, and an immediate left into motel parking lot. From Harrisburg: Rt. 322 W to Business Rt. 322 W, turn right on Branch Road, and an immediate left into motel parking lot. Ask for the walk box at the registration desk.
