Driving to the start box
623 B&A Blvd, Severna Park MD 21146. 410-647-5843. Annapolis using Rt 2/Governor Ritchie Hwy N: Turn left at Cypress Creek (Stop light), 1-1/2 blocks to Summit, turn right, to 1st stop sign. Turn left at stop sign, then left again in 1/2 block to Severna Park Community Center parking lot (marked with sign at entrance). Also park in Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church parking lot, walk down using stairs or driveway. It is suitable for heavy duty strollers. Wheelchairs may have some difficulty on short sections. There are several places to buy food and drinks near the Start, as well as restrooms. There are no restrooms or water available on the trail. Participants should carry water in warm weather. The route includes portions of the historic Baltimore & Annapolis Railway Trail (B&A Trail), with a wide, smooth, blacktop surface, and neighborhood streets. It passes through neighborhoods near the Severn River, to include Old Severna Park, Linstead on the Severn, West Severna Park, and Evergreen Estates.
