Description: Store Hours: Daily M-Sun 5am-Midnight. Additional parking at Town Hall & along streets. Restrooms are available in Safeway and the Mormon Temple Visitors Center. There are 2 trails. Both trails are on sidewalks, paved roadway shoulders & asphalt hiker/biker trail. 1. Historic Kensington and Mormon Temple. This trail goes through the historic area of Kensington on its way to the Mormon Temple to view the Holiday lights display. On its return, the trail goes by the train station and the Howard Ave Antique Row. 2. Garrett Park. This trail goes to and through the village of Garrett Park and along the Rock Creek Park multi-use trail to enjoy the fall foliage.

This event also supports a Physical Start Box (PSB) for event registration, payment, and stamping at the location indicated below.
PLEASE do not mix and match between the two registration methods. It will confuse you and the club. Choose one, OSB or PSB, to complete the event.

Take I-495 to Exit 33 MD-185N (Connecticut Ave) toward Kensington.
Drive about 1.8 miles.
RIGHT on Knowles Ave.
LEFT on Armory Ave.
Immediate LEFT into Safeway garage (limited parking available).
Walk box at Customer Service Desk.
Awards & Fees: IVV Credit Only
Comments: The Seneca Valley Sugarloafers charges all participants over 12 a $3 fee.
We suggest you walk with a group during evening hours for Holiday Lights in December but trail can be walked alone during the day. When walking in the evening hours, be sure to wear reflective clothing & bring a flashlight. Pets are not allowed in the shops or in the Temples Visitors Center.
