Description: Knights Ferry is in the Sierra Foothills. The 130+ year-old bridge is the longest covered bridge West of the Mississippi. An information center and museum is on the trail as we trek along through and around the small community of Knights Ferry. The historical covered bridge, grist mill are on the trail as well as a market, post office, ice cream parlor and restaurant and a 1950's roadhouse nearby.

Follow Hwy 99 South of Stockton to Exit #242, Yosemite Ave. Hwy 120 EAST. Left on Yosemite Ave. Hwy 120 East and continue through Escalon and Oakdale. Stay on Hwy 120 EAST as it turns left at Oakdale. Continue through Oakdale approximately 10 miles East to Kennedy Rd. and a sign on the right for Knights Ferry Recreation Area. Left on Kennedy Rd. to Sonora Rd. Left on Sonora Rd. to parking lot on right for Knights Ferry Recreation Area. (Do not cross bridge.)
