Event information
Gambrill State Park is a public recreation area located on Catoctin Mountain near the city of Frederick in Frederick County, Maryland. The state park is known for the dramatic views of the surrounding area that can be seen from stone overlooks built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps

Driving to the start box
Anne Kat Dittrich's Front porch 116 East Main St. Sharpsburg, MD 21782. From 70E take exit 49 onto US 40 alt toward Braddock Heights and Middletown take left on 40 alt toward Middletown. Go through Middletown, over south mountain to Boonsboro. At approximately 11 miles at traffic light make left onto Route 34. Go approximately 6 miles to Sharpsburg. 116 E Main is a green house with white porch house across from Captain Bender's. If you get to square you have gone too far. Box will be right side of porch. From 70W take exit 29 onto MD-65S turning towards Sharpsburg traveling approximately 11 miles. At the stop sign in Sharpsburg turn right 116E Main is green hour with white porch across from Captain Bender's. If you hit square you have gone too far. Box will be on right side of porch.
