Event information
9am-4pm 10-1 to 4-30, 9am-5pm 5-1 to 9-30 daily. Visitors Center (719-576-2016). Bring binoculars, sun screen and water! Enjoy all natural unpaved trails through this beautiful Colorado State Park!

Driving to the start box
State Park Rd off Hwy 115, across from Ft Carson Main Gate. I-25 S of Colorado Springs, Exit 135, Academy/Hwy 83. Go W [toward mountains] on Academy to Hwy 115, S (left). Traffic light at State Park Rd, turn right to Visitor Center. Ask at desk for Walk Box. Entrance requires Colorado State Park Pass or daily pass. Daily pass is $8.00 per vehicle.
