Event comments

After registering you must drive to the start parking lot of Arbor Hills Nature Preserve which is located next to the Fire Station. Do not park at FS. The Nature Preserve is a 200-acre park featuring vast areas of natural beauty for walking, jogging, hiking, and other outdoor activity. Paved recreational trails meander through a native setting including hills and a scenic creek. Carry water. Environmental stewardship means responsibly using and managing land and resources so they can be used and enjoyed now, and just as much in the future. In order for Arbor Hills to remain a healthy nature preserve, it is important that all users act as stewards of the park. Natural surface trails will be closed during periods of wet weather to prevent erosion and trail damage. This may last a few days beyond the wet weather to allow trails time to dry appropriately. Gates to park closed when park is closed. Call park for trail conditions, 972-941-7788.
