Walk through historic Cathlamet, through two parks, past a museum, across a wetland, through a Pioneer Cemetery and across the Cathlamet Channel of the Columbia River for a walk in the country on Puget Island. County seat of Wahkiakum County. Market Open 8-5. Walk Daily - dawn to dusk.

how to get to the event

Driving to the start box

From I-5, take Exit 36 at Longview, WA and follow SR432 into Longview. Follow signs toward SR 4 and Long Beach, WA. At SR4, turn left (west) and drive approximately 25 miles to Cathlamet, WA. Turn left at the sign into Cathlamet and onto Main St. Go 3 blocks to Cathlamet Market on the left. Restrooms at County Courthouse across the street and along the walk.
