Event information
Walk thru the Texas Freshwater Hatchery and view the aquariums featuring many Texas fish species, their outdoor ponds, picnic area, and area residential neighborhood. Entry fee: $5.50 adults, 4.50 seniors, 3.50 children. An alternate route in downtown Athens will be available with no entry fee.

Driving to the start box
1814 TX-31 East. From the county courthouse in downtown Athens, take TX-31 east (north side of the courthouse) about 2.5 miles to the Best Western on the right. After registering, you will drive approximately 5 miles to the hatchery.
