Event information

Walk through the Port Hueneme neighborhood of Channel Islands, by Fisherman's Village, along the Promenade and to Channel Islands Harbor. The route takes you on or by Oxnard Beach Park, Hollywood Beach (named from a 1920 film made in the area), and Channel View Park. The trail includes streets, bike paths, and sandy beaches, the perfect alternative to a hot day at home!

Driving to the start box

581 W. Channel Islands Blvd, Port Hueneme, CA 93041. (805) 985-4479. Driving directions: 101 North to Rice Ave (Exit #60). Turn Left onto Rice Ave. After 2.4 miles, turn Right onto E. Wooley Road. After 3.7 miles, turn Left onto Patterson Road. After 1.0 miles, turn Left onto W. Channel Islands Blvd. Shopping center is on your right after 0.4 miles. 101 South to Seaward Ave (Exit 68). Turn Left at offramp, and follow Harbor Blvd for 8 miles. Veer Left on Channel Islands Blvd, and CVS and Ralphs will be on left hand side after 0.8 miles.
