Event information
This event takes you on trails and roads within the Bear Creek Lake State Park. This walk is part of the Virginia State Park and the CCC program, as well as Cumberland County for the Virginia Counties Program. Walking the USA - Street by Street - AL, DE, NC, PA, WI
Awards: IVV CREDIT ONLY
Driving to the start box
22 Bear Creek Lake Rd. From U.S. Route 60 west of Richmond,. Right on Route 622 (Trent's Mill Road - State Park sign just before turn). Left on Route 629 (Oak Hill Road - just past Bear Creek Lake State Park and Cumberland State Forest sign. Left on Route 666 (Bear Creek Lake Road). Park Office is on the right. Entrance fee is $3 weekdays and $4 weekends. You will drive a short distance after you register to start the walk.
