Screaming' Mimi's was voted #4 in USAToday's Best Ice Cream Parlors for 2016! The route has been changed so that the walk ends at The Barlow district of stores, wine tasting venues and restaurants. Thursday evenings during the summer include food trucks and music!

Event information

Ask for walk box at desk in lobby, may be on window sill. Lobby open 24/7, (707-829-2500) but suggest that walk be completed in day light hours. Sebastopol is 55 miles north of San Francisco.The route is on city streets, scenic trails, city and county parks, and Florence Ave, famous for its metal sculptures in various yards by Patrick Amiot. His art may be seen in other locations in Sebastopol, also. Sebastopol is known for its Apple Blossom Festival in April and Gravenstein Apple Festival in August. The historic museum/railroad depot is a highlight. Sebastopol Art Gallery open Mon-Fri 10am to 5pm, Sat-Sun 1pm to 4pm. Closed holidays. Many wonderful shops and restaurants in town. Public restroom inside the Gravenstein Station and elsewhere along the route. The Post Office has WPA art work. American Flag at Veterans Memorial Building, Post Office, and Museum. Willard Libby who invented Carbon Dating attended Analy High School here. The Sebastopol Depot, now a museum is on the National Register of Historic Places, as is the George Strout House at 253 Florence Ave. Other annual events are: June- 2 weekends, Art at the Source-Open Studios and September-Zydeco Country Cajun Festival. Driving to the start box

6751 Sebastopol Avenue, Sebastopol, CA 95472. Take Hwy 12 exit off Hwy 101 in Santa Rosa. Go W approx 7 miles to Sebastopol. After first stop light, go approx 100 ft, turn left to second driveway at Gravenstein Station. The Sebastopol Inn is behind the Gravenstein Station.
