Event information
Calistoga "Hot Springs, Cool Wines, Warm Welcome" www.visitcalistoga.com. Daily dawn to dusk. The Calistoga Roastery contact 707-942-5757. Open Sun-Th 6:30am-3pm, Fri-Sat 6:30am-4pm. AVA Walk Box should be on a lower shelf on the far right wall. Customers have priority. The trail is on residential streets, bike trails and paved roads. The walk includes country roads through vineyards and downtown Calistoga with its many shops and restaurants. Calistoga is famous for its spas and mud baths, as well as wineries. There is a variety of good restaurants-maybe even one or 2 in Zagat's Survey. Calistoga is a small, charming town located in California Wine Country at the north end of the famous Napa Valley. Concerts in the Park,Thursday evenings, June-August. Napa County Fair and Fireworks July 4, Lighted Tractor Parade in December, Farmers Market on Saturdays all year, next to the Sharpsteen Museum-near the end of the walk!

Driving to the start box
1426 Lincoln, 94515. From I-80: W on Rt 12. Right on Rt 29 through Napa and St. Helena to Calistoga. At Lincoln (blinking light) turn right. Couple blocks on right. From US101: E on Mark West Springs/Porter Creek (approx 5 miles N of Santa Rosa). Left on Petrified Forest. Right on Hwy 128 (Foothill) about 1 mile to flashing light. Turn left on Lincoln (Hwy 29) continue as above. All day free parking available in the public lot, from Lincoln turn right at the stop light at Washington St and right into the lot, just beyond the Visitor's Center and before the firehouse. After parking, walk to the Calistoga Roastery which is mid-block East of Washington St
