Event information

The natural beauty of the Smokies combines with historic interest reminiscent of the old Little River Lumber Company as you walk along the cascading stream and small waterfalls of the Little River Trail past the former resort cabins at Elkmont. NOC: Sun-Thur 10 am to 6 pm, Fri-Sat 10 am to 8pm. Event shares Walk Box with Gatlinburg Trail and Tourist Walk YREs. Closed Christmas and New Years. From registration at the NOC drive 8 miles (15 minutes) to the Elkmont Campground in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Directions in Walk Box. Townsend VC: Daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed major holidays. Event shares Walk Box with Townsend Walk YRE. From registration at Townsend VC, drive 17 miles to the Elkmont Campground in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Directions in Walk Box.
