ALL NEW ROUTE FOR 2019. Walk through the downtown Nat'l Historic District, the CWU campus and city parks. You'll go by art galleries, historic buildings, the historic train station, and Dick and Jane's Spot. Pets on leash only. The 6K is a 1K extension to the 5K that goes to the historic train station. Wa. State Challenges: 39 Cos. - Kittitas, D/W/B - Winery, Historic Train Stations.

Driving to the start box
NEW START POINT. 211 W. Umptanum Rd, Ellensburg, Wa. 98926. On I-90 WB or EB, take Exit 109. Turn right on Canyon Road to Umptanum Road (stoplight). Turn left on Umptanum, cross railroad tracks. Best Western on right. Daily, dawn to dusk. Ask for "walk box" at registration desk. After registering, you will drive 1.2 miles to the walk start point.
