The Valley Forge Visitor is currently undergoing an extensive renovation which could last up to 2 yrs. During construction visitors will be directed to trailers in the lower parking lot. The walk box is located in one of the temporary trailers.

Event information
Daily, 9am - 4pm, closed New Years Day and Christmas Day. The surface is partially on a paved multi-use trail, a gravel trail along Valley Creek out to a covered bridge built in 1865, and a natural trail along the Schuylkill River. The walk passes Washington's HQ's and the Washington Memorial Chapel.

Driving to the start box
Visitor Center- 1400 North Outer Line Dr., Valley Forge 19406 (610-783-1000). From the South: I-95 North to I-476 North to I-76 West. Continue to US 202 South (Exit 328). **Exit 422 West, stay in right lane and exit Route 23 West; cross intersection (Route 23) into park. Park in the Visitors Parking Lot. The box is located in the Visitor Center behind the main desk. From Pa Turnpike: Exit at Valley Forge Interchange (Exit 326). After toll booth, stay in right lane a short distance to US 202 South. Follow directions (**) above
