Event information

Walk across the Columbia from Oregon to Washington and then come back to explore Umatilla. A great little town on the Columbia and along the route of Lewis and Clark. No pets in buildings; follow scoop laws. Restroom availability is seasonal. Walk during daylight hours.

Driving to the start box

100 Cline Ave. Umatilla, OR 97882(541) 922-4825Take Exit 1 from I-82. Turn West toward the town center. A Right on Brownell Blvd to Third Street.A Left on Third St. and quick Right on Cline will get you to the Center. Additional information at their website: umatillaorchamber.orgA free-standing wooden start podium is on the outside of the building around the back, river-side corner. There is a picnic table under a tree, available daylight hours. The Center is open M-F 8-4 for some shade, restrooms, and information. Don't forget to sign their guest book. This provides support for their continued operation plus new activities and functions.
