Description: Walk this easy walk on asphalt pathways, sidewalks, streets and country roads. Loop 1 will take you into the Sherwood countryside and Loop 2 will walk into historic Old Town Sherwood. The walk passes the Sherwood Heritage Center and Museum where you can see the oldest house in downtown Sherwood and if the museum is open (Wed. & Sat. from 10am - 4pm), you can see a display about the Atfalati Indians who roamed the Sherwood area long before the first white men came in the 1840's. If the museum is closed, take your time to peek through the windows or sit and enjoy one of the porches. See the WWII memorial, pass by the antiques mall (where a scene was filmed from the movie Thumbsuckers), city hall and the library. This is a walk that has it all, country charm, nice homes, beautiful greenways, and historic old town.
