Description: Come and enjoy the outdoors and see the beautiful array of sycamore, cottonwood, and black willow along Big Creek and the Brazos River. Live oaks draped with moss can be seen along the trails. Some wild flowers will be in bloom. A tower and platforms are available for wildlife observation/photography. More than 270 species of birds have been sighted. Twenty-one species of reptiles and amphibians, including American alligator and 23 species of mammals including bobcat, white-tailed deer, raccoon, gray fox, and feral hog make their home here

Start Point / Driving Directions: 21901 FM 762, Needville TX 77461
From Houston: US 59 (Southwest Freeway) toward Richmond. Exit south on FM 2759 (cross over the
freeway). FM 2759 and FM 762 intersect. Travel straight across the intersection to FM 762. Follow FM 762 to the park on the
left (approximately 12 miles). Enter the park and follow the main road to the visitorís center.
Alternatively Highway 288 south to Rosharon, west on FM 1462 then right on FM 762 for a short distance to the park on the right.

From San Antonio: I- 10 to Sealy, exit on Highway 36 south. Follow Highway 36 approximately 22 miles, exit right onto Spur 10.
Take a left at end of Spur 10 and enter Hwy 59 (Southwest Freeway). Exit on FM 762 (caution 762 makes a sharp turn when it
meets 2759). Follow FM 762 for approximately 12 miles to the park on the left. Enter the park and follow the main road to the visitorís
center.
