Walk is available effective November 14, 2019 on a daily basis. PLEASE NOTE Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital has changed their parking policies. To park in their parking structure you need a parking validation pass. We normally have parking validation passes in the registration binder zipper pouch. Park in the 5 spaces in front of the main building, then go inside and get a parking validation pass from the registration binder zipper pouch, then go ahead and park your vehicle in one of the parking structures. If you don't have a pass, you are subject to a $65.00 Cost to Leave the parking structure. If by some chance we are out of parking validation passes park on the street near NW 24th Avenue or NW 25th Avenue (3 to 5 blocks away), there are normally 4 hour free parking spaces and you can normally find parking spaces available most of the time. This walk does qualify for OTSVA 2019 (Nature, Noodles, Nuts & Overlook) 2018 (Ink, Images, Italian, Java & Jewelry) 2017 (Hospitals, High Schools & Historic Homes) ESVA - 2015 (Birth & School) AVA - 50 States & Centurion MAIL IN FEES WALK ONLY!

Event information

This walk takes you past many Portland Landmarks including the Rose Garden, (1 km option if you wish to visit the Japanese Garden) Holocaust Memorial, Portlandia, Voodoo Donuts, Pioneer Courthouse Square, City Hall, a Liberty Bell, Providence Park Stadium (formerly Jeld-Wen Field) , and Portland Art Museum. 5K rated 2B takes you to the Rose Garden and Providence Park. The start box (registration notebook) is in a small file left of the main entrance door near the coffee shop.

how to get to the event

Driving to the start box

1015 NW 22nd Avenue. NW 22nd & Lovejoy, Portland Directions: I-5 Northbound to Exit 299B onto I-405. Exit 405 at Everett St., Exit 2B, onto 14th Ave. Continue north on 14th to Marshall. Left on Marshall 1 block past 21st to parking building 2 or 3. I-5 Southbound to Exit 302B onto I-405. Cross Fremont Bridge, take Exit 3, NW Industrial Area/Vaughn St. ramp. Left at signal at NW 23rd to Northrup. Left on Northrup 1 block to 22nd. Right 1 block to Marshall. Left on Marshall, go 1 block to parking building 2 or 3. Walk start binder is in a wall tray by the wheel chair storage area. Enter the main hospital entrance, walk towards the information desk, turn RIGHT just before the information desk towards the wheelchair storage area. Turn LEFT at the wheelchair storage area and on the wall of the wheelchair storage area is the binder with the walk registration in the wall tray or ask at the main lobby Information desk for the location of the walk binder. Main Hospital Lobby is open during daylight hours only.
