Event comments
If you bring a dog on the walk, there are two sections of the trail which go through buildings where dogs are not allowed; you will have to navigate around the buildings. Dogs are allowed on all other parts of the trail. This walk takes you past many historical sites in downtown Cleveland, plus Browns Stadium, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Great Lakes Science Center, Progressive Field, Quicken Arena and Cleveland State University. JACKS Casino is next to the hotel with restroom. Check with casino on their free parking requirements. Tower City has a great food court and other restaurants. Driving to the start box
24 Public Square, 44113; 216-696-5600.From eastside of Cleveland on I-90, exit 172/E.9th Street Make a left on Euclid to public square. From I-71 and I-90, Ontario exit is now open. Go around the square parking is in front of hotel. If you want to park in Terminal Tower parking go around square to Ontario until get to parking sign.Also RTA public transit. Park at W 150th station (off I-71) ride to Tower City Center. Once you enter, go up 2 levels, walk length of Tower City to foyer (before exit to Public square). Left and follow hallway up stairs to fountain; registration desk to left, as for Walk Box.
