Walk on well worn natural trails in preserved battlefield. Many interpretive markers and a Stonewall Jackson statue. Expect some roots and may be soggy after rain. Visitor center has a short film and literature.

Driving to the start box
9220 Plank Rd. (Rt. 3), Spotsylvania. I-95 exit 130 onto Rt. 3 west. 8.5 miles to registration point. Daily 9 am - 5 pm. Register in reservations building, drive 2/10 mile to walk start at Battlefield Visitors Center.
