Event information
Explore Fort Ebey State Park, the site of an artillery fort built to protect Puget Sound. Walk on trails with panoramic views of Puget Sound, past a 1942 gun battery, campgrounds and Lake Pondilla. Views of Pt. Townsend, Straight of Juan de Fuca, San Juan Islands and on a clear day Victoria, BC. Walk on trails through diverse forests, watch for wildlife and wildflowers. In the spring walk under the wild rhododendrons in bloom or in the fall look for the different kinds of fungi. Two 5k loops. Walk daily, 8am to sunset. Discover Pass Required for parking.

Driving to the start box
200 NW Coveland St. Follow SR 20 to traffic light in Coupeville. From North turn left, from South turn right onto Main Street. Left on Coveland St. 2 blocks to Coupeville Inn on your right. Registration is in a zipper binder in a drawer in the Lobby. Register and drive 6 miles to start. Discover Pass required to park at the start point. Passes are available at the park. http://discoverpass.wa.gov
