Bayview Thriftway open 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m daily. Walk along Olympia waterfront from West Bay Park to Port Plaza. Lovely views of Olympia, the Capitol, Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. 5K, 10K and 20K are rated 1A. 10K continues through the Farmer's Market (open Thurs. - Sun. April through Oct; open Sat. & Sun. Nov - Dec) to the view point past Swantown Marina (picnic tables). There are optional add ons that vary in difficulty that can be added together to walk up to 42K. Some add ons are rated 2C and are not suitable for strollers. Restrooms at startpoint, Percival Landing and Swantown Marina (10K only). Places to sit along route. Boardwalk slippery when wet. 5K/10K/20K pass the berth of the tug boat Sandman, one of eight boats on the National Historic Register.

516 W 4th Ave, Olympia, WA 98502 - From I-5 Northbound: Take Exit 105 and follow Port of Olympia signs. Turn left on Plum St and left on State St which becomes 4th Ave. Bayview is on the right just before the bridge. Deli is in back on left side of store. From I-5 Southbound: Take Exit 105B and merge into Plum St. Proceed as above.
