Pets not allowed on beach. A sidewalk on Atlantic Ave parallels the beach and may be used as an alternate route during high tide or for strollers and wheelchairs. Protective clothing, hats, and sunscreen are recommended.

Event information

Daily, dawn-dusk. Trail is rated C1. Beach not suitable for strollers/wheelchairs; sidewalk alternative available. This beautiful walk takes you across the Intracoastal Waterway and past the historic Jackie Robinson Baseball Stadium where he (#42) made his first appearance as a major league ballplayer. Stroll along the restored downtown area and lovely Riverfront Park. Walk past the home of the 1st female mayor and doctor in Daytona and view the wonders of Manatee Island. Cross the Halifax River on the Main St Bridge. Wander down Main Street, home of the annual "Bikeweek" and "Biketoberfest" festivities. Meander through the marvelous new Oceanwalk complex with its great shops and restaurants. Your Daytona adventure ends as you stroll down the "World's Most Famous Beach"! In 2018, a new 20km option explores further along the beachside neighborhoods of Daytona!

1025 S Atlantic. I-95 Exit 261 (US Hwy 92/Intl Speedway), E on US 92/ISB to S Atlantic (US Hwy A1A) cross Intracoastal Waterway (approx 5 miles). Right to S Atlantic, approx 1.9 miles to Silver Beach. Silver Beach Club on left. Ask for box at desk.
