Event information

Walk daily, dawn to dusk. But register during hours listed above. Revised route for 2018. Scenic, flat route out and back on paved paths and boardwalks along Astoria Columbia River water front. The Astoria Riverwalk is itself a city park. The 10k and 12k options pass by 2 other City Parks, one of which has a restored water fountain. 12k option crosses a wooden boardwalk bridge to Pier 39 with an opportunity to explore a cannery museum. Rated B because pavement is uneven in spots; the boardwalks are very slippery when wet and some portions present tripping hazards.

Driving to the start box

3975 Abbey Lane. US30 to Astoria. North (toward the river) on 39th Street for one block. Right onto Abbey Lane. Right at the first driveway all the way to the end. Wooden file cabinet located left of the counter at the end under the table. Hours are Monday through Friday - 9 am.to 7 pm & Saturday - noon to 5 pm. Closed New Years Eve & New Year's Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter.
