Event information

The walk is a tour of the Hillsborough River shoreline, the University of Tampa, Hyde Park dining and shopping area, and Bayshore Dr. The 20K route takes walkers to historic Ybor City and back through the Channelside shopping district (not recommended during summer due to unshaded areas).

Driving to the start box

111 W Fortune St., 33602, (813)223-1351. I-275N, Exit 44/ Dntn W, taking Ashley Dr. to Straz Center for Performing Arts. Keep in right-most lane to turn right at first street (once off ramp, it comes quickly and is unmarked Fortune St.). Hotel on right about 1/2 a block down. I-275 S, Exit 45A/Dntn E - W to very long ramp. At first opportunity, get in right-most lane and follow Downtown West. After passing Downtown East ramp, continue traveling on Downtown West ramp but now follow Ashley Dr. signs. As you leave ramp to travel on Ashley, move to right-most lane, turn right to first street (once off ramp, it comes quickly and is unmarked Fortune St.). Hotel on right about 1/2 a block down. Use metered street side parking (parking is free on weekends). Hotel is open every day, 24 hours a day. Regular hours 7:30 am-5 pm. Complete walks during daylight hours.
