Event information
Requires short drive of 2 miles from Mayfair Hotel in Belmar to walk start in Sea Girt (1875), one square mile town facing the Atlantic. Some parking problems near Mayfair in summer. Visit Sea Girt Lighthouse on Beacon Blvd which began operating in 1896 and was the last active lighthouse built on the Atlantic coast going out of service in 1945. Enjoy the picturesque seaside town of Spring Lake with beautiful homes along the oceanfront and lake. Walk is open dawn to dusk.

Register Mayfair Hotel, 1000 Ocean Ave, Belmar, NJ Corner 10th & Ocean. N: NJ Turnpike, Exit 11 Garden State Pkwy. GSP Exit 98. Follow 138 E to Belmar. N on Rt 35 to 10th. Right on 10th to the ocean. W: I-195 E to 138 E to Rt 35 N. Right on 10th to ocean.
