Event information
Daily, 8am to dusk. (Closed major holidays) The walk is primarily shaded except for the portion on the beach. It overlooks Lake Powell and the Gulf of Mexico.The trails provide access to the environmental wonders of the park, winding beneath giant magnolias and live oaks. Bug spray is advisable. Carry water. No concession stands. Bring food and drink if desired.

Driving to the start box
Camp Helen State Park, 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway, 850-233-5059. West on US 98W about 10 miles from Panama City. Turn left on Camp Helen Rd. There is an Honor System Fee Entry. Register for walk in the Ranger Station. Box on floor in tables area.
