Event information
Prairie Life Center is open dawn to dusk every day except Christmas Day. Closes at 4 pm on New Years Eve, July 4th & Thanksgiving & 2pm on Christmas Eve. Phone 913-648-8077 for Center info only. The route is on a hike-bike trail, meandering beside Indian Creek on an asphalt trail with a few hills. The 15 k loop goes east crossing the border into Kansas City MO. The west loop is entirely in Overland Park KS. Sections of the trail might be closed in times of heavy rains. Water and restrooms are available at start. There are a few porta-potties along the way.

Driving to the start box
10351 Barkley St, Overland Park, KS 66212. From east or west on I-435: Go North on Metcalf Avenue to 103rd St., go right on 103rd to Barkley, (about two blocks), go right on Barkley, the Center is on your left. Plenty of places to park.
