Event comments

Some paved and some hard packed gravel/dirt along the former towpath. Plenty of wildlife; deer, waterfowl, etc. to see. Markers are in 1/4 mile increments. The 5km stays in Farnsworth Metropark; the 10km travels into Bendview Metropark; the 15km goes to the outer limits of Bendview Metropark, and the 20km goes into Canal Lands Metropark. Event information

After registering, you continue on E. Dudley St to Conant St. Right on Conant to US24. Left on US24 for about 5 miles towards Waterville. Exit 66 after the Fallen Timbers exit. Drive through Waterville to the Roche de Bout parking area of Farnsworth Metropark. Park near the shelterhouse. The trail starts there. All four routes are out-and-back. Restrooms at Police Dept, at the shelterhouse, and along the route. Water available at several spots, but you will want to carry your own if participating in the 10km or longer routes.

Driving to the start box

From I-475, exit 4 Maumee, US24/Anthony Wayne Trail. Stay on US24 through the light at Conant St. Right on Cass Rd to E. Dudley St. Right on E. Dudley to the Police Dept. 109 E Dudley St. Street parking to register, then drive to walk start point. - Walk box under bench in lobby.
