CVS is open 24 hours, and open most holidays. Call 707-778-6081 if in doubt. Walk only during daylight hours. The route is on city sidewalks. Some steps which can be bypassed by wheelchairs and strollers. Highlights include many beautiful historical homes and the locations for many movies, including American Graffiti. There are many restaurants, pubs, and stores, as well as the Petaluma River. Visit a seed bank! Petaluma's historic downtown is on the National Register of Historic Places. Petaluma is the southern entrance to Sonoma County and it's 195 wineries. Petaluma was once considered the "Egg Capital of the World". Inventors, Lyman Byce and Isaac Dias, created the egg incubator here.

Driving to the start box
365 E Washington, Petaluma, CA 94952. From Hwy 101, take Central Petaluma/E Washington exit, go W. Pass several signal lights, cross Lakeville and the railroad tracks. Turn RIGHT at first driveway to parking lot. CVS at rear of parking lot.
