Event information
7am to dusk. Closed Christmas Day. Start Box located on counter near "Express Shop" sign. Walk goes through Hunsberger Woods, Ursinus College campus which has many interesting sculptures, and along the Great Reading Road where Washington and the Continental Army encamped from Sep 19-22, 1777. The walk also goes along a section of the Perkiomen Trail, a rails-to-trail and into residential areas. Natural surfaces through the woods and paved surfaces through the campus and neighborhoods. There are some hills.

Driving to the start box
Marketplace at Collegeville Shopping Center, 201 Second Ave, 19426, (610-454-9709) S: I-95 N to I-476 N. Exit 20 - Germantown Pike West (Just before toll plaza). Take GPW to Collegeville - about 12 miles. Left at Rt 29 S (Second). Start point 0.4 mile on right in Marketplace at Collegeville Shopping Center. PA Turnpike: Exit 333 (Norristown) take GPW, follow directions above. N: I-476 S to Exit 44 (Quakertown). Right on Rt 663 to Rt 29 S. Follow Rt 29 S about 17 miles to Main St. in Collegeville. Rt 29 S (Second) another 0.4 mile.Start point on right in Marketplace at Collegeville Shopping Center. Reading and W: US Rt 422 E to Rt 29 N (Collegeville / Phoenixville Exit). Left on Rt 29 N to Collegeville. After 2.1 miles turn left at Freeland (traffic light past CVS Pharmacy.) Start point in Marketplace at Collegeville Shopping Center.
