PPSF Most of the roads on the route have been chosen to have low traffic, but there are a few sections with some moderate traffic. Stick to the right shoulder and obey traffic laws. This is mostly gently rolling terrain, particularly the 15K is considered low hills by the local bike club. However, there are a few hills on the 30K route you may choose to walk up! Its beautiful scenery. You can rent bikes here: http://www.intercoursebikeworks.com/ The start location, Plain & Fancy restaurant, is highly recommended as a local dining experience. They serve a family-style country dinner thats delicious and gives a taste of the region. Theres also an attached hotel called the AmishView Inn & Suites and many other lodging options in the area.

Event information

This bike is in the heart of Lancaster County Amish farmland. After registering at the start, you will drive a couple of miles to do the bike. The bike is on country roads passing many Amish farms, crop fields, one-room schoolhouses, stone bridges, small villages, and an old mill. The 30K bike is rated 3A. Start Time: 9A-7P until Memorial Day, then 8A-7P.

3121 Old Philadelphia Pike (PA-340), Bird-in-Hand, PA 17505. Refer to the Amish Farmland Walk (Y0344) for directions to start location. The walk box will be in the front just inside the main doors.
