Event information
Daily, dawn to dusk. Look for binder on shelf above computer. After completing registration log, mark a registration envelope, include payment, put in postage paid envelope and give to desk clerk to mail. The route has a few hills and is mostly paved. Jackson is a gold rush-era town, and the tour includes St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church and Cemetery, the first Serbian Orthodox Church in the U.S. Much of the walk is residential, but also includes strolling downtown to satisfy your need for antique hunting. Best bet for lunch is Mel & Fayes Diner, near the end of the walk - terrific burgers, milkshakes, and pies.

200 S Hwy 49, Jackson, CA 95642. SE corner Hwy 49 SE and Hwy 88. Enter parking lot between Amador Inn and Denny's.
