Event information
YMCA open: M-F 5:30am-9pm; Sat 7am-7pm; Sun 9am-5pm. Start box in lobby. You may register any time, but must start and finish walk during daylight hours. Closed major holidays. Carry water in warm/hot weather. The walk is along sidewalks and a portion is shared with a dirt horse trail. While on the horse trail, walkers are urged to remain on the trail and not wander into the brush areas. Parking lot, as well as restrooms, available at the start. Start box is located at the Welcome Center counter. Center in the middle of the facility. A cabinet no longer exists.

Driving to the start box
1201 Paseo Magda, 91910-7785. Travel S from I-8 on I-805. Exit I-805 at "H" St exit, turn E on "H" St. Proceed E on "H" St approx 2.7 miles, arrive at Paseo Ranchero. Paseo Ranchero's intersection controlled by stoplight. Turn left on Paseo Ranchero, proceed approx 50 yards, turn right on Paseo Magda. South Bay YMCA on left. Turn in and park in lot.
